Es Vedra
Es Vedra , Cala D'Hort Es Vedra Es Vedra  is a beautiful 400m high rock, jutting out of the sea,  which makes for a spectacular view . It lies about 3 Kms from the nearest coast in Cala D’Hort and is an official nature reserve. It looks cool when you watch it during the sunset.

You can also visit the pirate tower that gets you an even better look at this rock. Be prepared for a 10 to 15 min climb up a steep path. But its well worth it. This pirate tower is located in the southwest of the island, between Cala D'Hort and Cap Llentrisca. It was built as part of the island's defences in 1763. Cannon would have been situated on the upper deck, while the lower storey would have been used to house powder and shot.

Nowadays, the most impressive aspect of the tower is the commanding view of the rock of Es Vedra. Breath taking stuff.
Es Vedra has a lot of stories going around it, like it being the tip of ancient civilization of Atlantis or of UFO’s being spotted there, but the stories just add to the charm of the place.
