Shopping in Ibiza , Ibiza If you like shopping then you will be in heaven in the local old town of Ibiza, with so many market stalls and small boutiques you will find real Ibiza fashion and so many unusual items to take back with you.  The town of Ibiza has many big boutiques and lots and lots of little ones with huge variety of fashionable clothes. Its not all clothes Ibiza town has what every city in the world has and that’s streets, and there are lots of streets full of all types of shops for you too explore. Another highlight shopping place is the famous hippy-market in the resort of Es Cana which is every Wednesday during the summer months. The Hippie culture may be gone, but the products aren’t. You’ll find a range of products like leather jackets to handbags, shoes to belts, beaded necklaces to pipes and bongs. So at least long after the hippies are gone, the hippie generation does survive here. Other towns on the Island like San Antonio and Santa Eulalia are also great shopping areas for the diehard shopper, again lots of variety. The Santa Eulalia center has a range of small hippie stalls which operates everyday during the summer. For food shopping the Island has 3 big shopping malls, Syp in Ibiza town , Hyper center on the San Antonio road and Lidal again near Ibiza town. The Island has small supermarkets everywhere for the essentials.
